Hesperaloe parviflora, known as Red Yucca, is a stemless evergreen succulent forming architectural clumps of arching, blue-green leaves. Reaching four feet tall, its spineless foliage features unique white fibrous threads. From late spring through summer, spectacular five-foot red flower stalks emerge, attracting hummingbirds with tubular blooms. This hardy plant thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, making it ideal for xeriscaping, rock gardens, or mass plantings in zones five to eleven.
