Common questions
Can I switch plans anytime?
Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. Depending on the change, it takes effect immediately or at the start of your next billing cycle.
What happens to my designs if I downgrade?
Your designs are never deleted — everything you built stays in your account. If you are over the free limit after downgrading, you can not create new designs until you are back within it.
Is there a free trial of Plus?
The Free tier is your trial — and it never expires. You get the Visual Designer on up to 3 active designs: upload a photo of your own property and use the whole toolkit — generative AI, drag-and-drop plants and objects, drawing tools — on the same design. When you are ready for unlimited designs and the full drag-and-drop library, upgrade to Plus.
How is SimplyScapes different from AI design apps?
AI design apps generate a concept image and stop there — you cannot move a plant, swap a species, or turn the picture into a plan. SimplyScapes uses AI the same way (fast ideas on your actual photo), then hands you control: drag any of 2,400+ real plants onto the design yourself. It is the only web-based tool that does both.
Is there a discount for yearly billing?
Yes. Paying yearly gives you about 2 months free — roughly 20% off compared to monthly. Plus comes to $25/month, billed $300/year. Cancel anytime to stop the next renewal.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards, processed securely through Stripe. For Enterprise billing, talk to our team.
Do you offer discounts for students and educators?
Yes. Students and teachers at schools, colleges, and universities get Plus free. Email support@simplyscapes.com from your school and we will set you up.
Can I get a refund?
Yes — request one when you cancel. Refunds are available within 10 days of your last payment on annual plans, 3 days on monthly, and 1 day on weekly, and are processed within 5–10 business days.
What is included in Enterprise?
Enterprise includes everything in Plus, plus white-label branding, team workspaces (beta), a dedicated success manager, and custom deployment options. Security and uptime commitments are scoped in your agreement. Pricing is based on your organization's needs.
Does SimplyScapes work on iPad and mobile?
Yes. SimplyScapes is fully browser-based and works on any device — Mac, PC, iPad, Android tablet, and mobile phones. No app to download.
Is my data secure?
Yes. SimplyScapes uses Firebase authentication, encrypts all data at rest and in transit, and follows industry-standard security practices. Enterprise customers have additional deployment and security options.
