About Pussytoes Plant

Antennaria microphylla, commonly known as littleleaf pussytoes, is a resilient, mat-forming perennial native to North America. This low-growing groundcover features small, spoon-shaped leaves covered in silvery-white hairs, creating a dense, woolly carpet that persists through winter. In late spring, it produces clusters of fuzzy, white to pink flower heads resembling kitten paws on stems reaching up to twelve inches. It thrives in full sun and well-drained, nutrient-poor soils, making it ideal for rock gardens, xeric landscapes, or between pavers.
