About Bigelow's Nolina

Nolina bigelovii, known as Bigelow's Nolina, is a slow-growing, arborescent succulent native to the Mojave and Sonoran deserts. It develops a stout, trunk-like stem topped with dense rosettes of rigid, glaucous, blue-green leaves that feature distinctive shreddy margins. In late spring, it produces massive, branched flower stalks reaching up to 13 feet tall, covered in tiny cream-colored blossoms. Extremely drought-tolerant and cold-hardy, it is a premier focal point for xeriscapes.
