About Russian Sage

Perovskia atriplicifolia is a hardy, woody-based perennial known for its upright, square stems and finely dissected, aromatic silver-gray foliage. This subshrub typically reaches heights of three to five feet, producing airy spikes of lavender-blue flowers from midsummer into fall. It thrives in full sun and well-drained, lean soils, exhibiting excellent drought and heat tolerance. Ideal for xeriscaping, borders, or cottage gardens, it attracts pollinators while remaining deer resistant.
