Fir Trees

Abies, commonly known as firs, are majestic evergreen conifers characterized by a symmetrical, pyramidal growth habit and whorled branches that create a distinct tiered appearance. Their soft, flat needles are often aromatic and range in color from vibrant green to silvery-blue. Widely used as ornamental specimen trees and popular Christmas trees, they also provide timber for construction. These hardy trees thrive in well-drained, rich soils and typically prefer mountainous regions.
