Aconitifolium Full Moon Japanese Maple

Acer japonicum 'Aconitifolium' is a deciduous small tree or large shrub celebrated for its deeply lobed, fern-like foliage that resembles monkshood leaves. It features a rounded, spreading habit, reaching up to fifteen feet in height. In spring, small ruby-red flowers appear, followed by winged samaras. The true highlight is the autumn display, where leaves transform into brilliant shades of crimson, orange, and gold. It thrives in moist, well-drained soil and sheltered spots.
