About Tamukeyama Japanese Maple Tree

This classic weeping laceleaf Japanese maple forms a graceful, dome-shaped mound with cascading branches. Its deeply dissected foliage emerges a rich crimson-red, maturing to a dark purple-red that resists fading in summer heat. In autumn, the leaves transform into a brilliant scarlet. Reaching 6 to 10 feet tall, it thrives in moist, well-drained, acidic soil and tolerates full sun better than most red cultivars. It is an ideal specimen for rock gardens, patios, or Asian-themed landscapes.
