About Tatarian Maple Tree

Acer tataricum, commonly known as the Tatarian maple, is a hardy deciduous small tree or large multi-stemmed shrub reaching heights of 15 to 20 feet. Native to western Asia and southeastern Europe, it features a dense, rounded crown and broad-ovate, medium green leaves that turn shades of yellow and red in autumn. It is particularly noted for its upright clusters of greenish-white flowers and striking red winged samaras that provide ornamental interest throughout the summer months.
