About Fernleaf Yarrow

Achillea filipendulina, commonly known as fern-leaf yarrow, is a robust, clump-forming perennial prized for its architectural presence. It features deeply-dissected, aromatic, grey-green foliage that resembles fern fronds. In mid to late summer, stiff, upright stems rise to three or four feet, topped with dense, flat-headed golden-yellow flower clusters. This drought-tolerant species thrives in full sun and lean, well-drained soils, making it ideal for borders, gravel gardens, and cutting.
