Arendsii™ Monkshood

Aconitum carmichaelii 'Arendsii' is an erect, tuberous-rooted perennial known for its late-season display of dense, hooded, azure-blue flowers. Reaching up to five feet, its sturdy, rigid stems are clad in leathery, deeply divided, dark green foliage that remains attractive throughout the season. This award-winning cultivar thrives in moist, fertile soils and is ideal for woodland gardens or back-of-border placements. Note that all parts of the plant are highly toxic.
