Meader Hardy Kiwi

Actinidia arguta 'Meader' is a robust, deciduous climbing vine primarily grown as a male pollinator for female hardy kiwi varieties. This vigorous grower features attractive, heart-shaped green foliage and clusters of small, fragrant white flowers that appear in late spring. While it does not produce fruit itself, one 'Meader' can pollinate up to eight female plants. It thrives in full sun to partial shade and requires sturdy support like a trellis or fence to manage its rapid growth habit.
