About Buckeye Tree

Aesculus is a genus of deciduous trees and shrubs ranging from four to thirty-five meters in height. These plants are celebrated for their distinctive opposite, palmately compound leaves featuring five to eleven leaflets that often turn vibrant colors in autumn. In spring, they produce upright terminal panicles of showy white, yellow, or red flowers. While valued as ornamental shade trees, their leathery fruit capsules contain toxic seeds. They thrive in temperate climates with moist soil.
