About Horse Chestnut Tree

Aesculus hippocastanum is a grand deciduous tree reaching heights of 75 feet, featuring a dense, domed crown and stout branches. Its distinctive foliage consists of large, palmately compound leaves with seven leaflets that turn a vibrant yellow in autumn. In spring, it produces spectacular upright panicles of white flowers marked with yellow or red. While widely used as a shade or street tree, it thrives in moist, well-drained soils but is prone to leaf scorch in dry conditions.
