Mystic Ruby™ Buckeye is a unique hybrid of the Ohio and Red Buckeye, discovered as a chance seedling in Wisconsin. This medium-sized tree reaches an oval stature of 30 to 35 feet, showcasing stunning pinkish-red flower panicles in late spring that attract hummingbirds. Its dark green foliage is notably resistant to leaf blotch and scorch, maintaining a cleaner appearance than many other buckeyes. It is exceptionally cold-hardy, thriving in zones 4 to 9 in moist, well-drained soils.
