Agastache cana, known as Texas Hummingbird Mint, is a robust, upright perennial with a bushy growth habit. It features aromatic, gray-green foliage that releases a sweet bubblegum scent when bruised. From mid-summer to fall, it produces striking spikes of tubular, rose-pink flowers that are a magnet for hummingbirds and butterflies. Native to the Southwest, it thrives in full sun and well-drained, xeric soils. It is highly drought-tolerant and deer-resistant, making it ideal for rock gardens and borders.
