Create design onlineAbout Celestia™ Agastache
[Danziger’s cultivar profile](https://www.danzigeronline.com/catalog/perennials_catalog/celestia/) describes Celestia™ as an upright, large-flowered Agastache foeniculum selection bred for vigorous landscape use, strong rooting, and branching. The breeder lists 20–24 inches high and about 28 inches wide; a [Ball Horticultural technical sheet](https://wt.ballhort.com/DisplayProductInformation/104314/Agastache-Celestia-2025_NEW.pdf) lists spring-to-summer flowering.
## Form and use
The cultivar’s upright habit and broad flower spikes suit the middle of a sunny perennial border or a large patio container. Danziger lists a 7–10 hardiness range; Ball lists a 6–10 production hardiness range, so winter performance should be treated as region and site dependent.
## Site and soil
Grow in full sun and free-draining soil. Danziger’s technical catalog classifies the crop as moderately dry, and its production guide advises allowing the mix to dry slightly between irrigations and avoiding saturated conditions. General anise-hyssop guidance from [University of Wisconsin–Madison Extension](https://hort.extension.wisc.edu/articles/anise-hyssop-agastache-foeniculum/) likewise emphasizes drainage and notes that Agastache can tolerate dry soil once established.
## Maintenance
Water new plants as they establish, then avoid keeping the root zone consistently wet. Remove damaged stems in spring and trim faded spikes if a tidier appearance is desired.
