Agastache foeniculum is an upright, clump-forming perennial reaching two to four feet. This North American native features aromatic, ovate leaves that emit a licorice scent when crushed. From mid-summer to autumn, it produces dense spikes of lavender-purple flowers that attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Thriving in full sun to part shade and well-drained soil, it is drought-tolerant and deer-resistant, making it ideal for pollinator borders, herb gardens, and meadows.
