About Kudos™ Gold Hyssop

KUDOS™ ‘Kudos Gold’ is a compact, well-branched Agastache with green aromatic foliage and golden yellow to pale-orange flower spikes. Its long bloom season makes it useful in sunny borders and patio containers, where the flowers can attract hummingbirds and other pollinators. ## Garden Use Use the rounded clump near the front or middle of a perennial bed, or in a container where the upright flower spikes rise above neighboring plants. Terra Nova lists ‘Kudos Gold’ in its KUDOS™ series and identifies the cultivar as PP26410 / EU43297. The [RHS profile](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/343731/agastache-kudos-gold-kudos-series/details) describes the flowers as golden pale-orange and the foliage as aromatic; [Monrovia](https://www.monrovia.com/kudos-gold-dwarf-agastache.html) recommends it for mixed beds, borders, and containers. ## Siting and Size Grow in full sun and well-drained soil. Published dimensions vary: Terra Nova’s product profile gives a compact foliage clump with flowering stems extending above it, while other exact-cultivar listings report a mature plant around 24–26 inches tall and wide. The cultivar is listed for USDA zones 5–10. Leave enough space for the mound and avoid winter-wet soil. ## Seasonal Interest Golden flower spikes bloom in summer and can continue into fall. The foliage is aromatic when handled and provides a green base for the long floral display. ## Maintenance Water regularly while new plants establish, then reduce irrigation as roots develop. Terra Nova describes KUDOS™ as a low-water series once established. Remove faded flower spikes to keep the plant tidy and encourage further flowering.
