Agastache Kudos™ Silver Blue

[Terra Nova’s cultivar profile](https://www.terranovanurseries.com/product/agastache-kudos-silver-blue/) describes Agastache KUDOS™ ‘Silver Blue’ as a compact perennial with dense, plump spikes of light blue to violet-blue flowers over refined green foliage. The breeder lists patent PP25344, mature foliage height of 18 inches, flowering height and spread of 24 inches, and USDA zones 5–10. ## Landscape Use Use it as a summer color spot in sunny borders, rock gardens, or containers. The dense flower spikes and smaller mound give it a more compact role than larger Agastache hybrids. The [cultivar profile](https://www.terranovanurseries.com/product/agastache-kudos-silver-blue/) lists June–September flowering, hummingbird attraction, and unusually clean, disease-resistant foliage. ## Siting and Soil Full sun and sharply drained soil help this perennial overwinter. Avoid winter-wet conditions, particularly heavy soil that stays saturated. Water new plants while they establish, then reduce irrigation as the roots mature; the breeder identifies this cultivar as drought tolerant once established. ## Maintenance Remove old stems in early spring as new growth appears. Occasional spent-stem removal can tidy the plant, though no recurring pruning is required for its basic form. Keep the crown out of poorly drained soil and avoid heavy winter watering.
