Sunrise™ Salmon Pink Hyssop

Agastache ‘Sunrise™ Salmon Pink’ is a compact, upright perennial bred by Green Fuse Botanicals for the First Light® Sunrise™ series. Its salmon-pink buds open to pink tubular flowers that age toward orange, while aromatic green foliage and a long summer-to-fall display make it useful in borders, mixed containers, and pollinator plantings. ## Flowers and garden role The two-tone color changes as the flower spikes mature, so the plant shifts from salmon and pink toward warmer orange shades later in the season. Green Fuse groups this cultivar with the Sunrise series for patio containers, window boxes, and landscape plantings. The flowers attract hummingbirds and other pollinators, and the aromatic foliage adds sensory interest when brushed. ## Growing conditions Plant in full sun and sharply drained soil. Green Fuse’s crop guidance recommends letting the growing medium dry between waterings and avoiding consistently wet conditions, which can lead to root problems. The cultivar is sold as a perennial, but cold hardiness depends on local conditions; commercial references place Sunrise selections around USDA Zone 5 and warmer. Series-level guidance describes drought tolerance after establishment, so new plants still need regular establishment watering. ## Maintenance Remove faded flower stems if you want to encourage continued flowering and keep the plant tidy.
