Lady's Mantle Plant

Alchemilla erythropoda is a charming, clump-forming perennial that creates neat mounds of soft, grey-green foliage. Its hairy, palmate leaves are famously water-repellent, often holding dewdrops like shimmering jewels. In early summer, frothy sprays of lime-yellow flowers emerge, eventually aging to a warm bronze. This dwarf species is ideal for rock gardens, path edging, or as a groundcover in cottage gardens. It thrives in moist, well-drained soil and tolerates full sun to partial shade.
