Allagoptera campestris

Allagoptera campestris is a diminutive, slow-growing palm native to the savannas of South America. Characterized by its subterranean or very short trunk, it often appears as a cluster of arching, plumose fronds that reach up to one meter in height. The foliage is distinctively dark green on the upper surface with a striking silvery-grey underside.
