About Buri Palm

Allagoptera caudescens, commonly known as the Buri Palm, is a tall and solitary palm native to the Atlantic forests of Brazil. It features a robust, rough trunk that can reach heights of up to 15 meters, topped with a crown of long, pinnate leaves. The foliage is particularly striking, displaying a deep green upper surface and a distinct silvery-white underside. This slow-growing species is highly ornamental and drought-tolerant, preferring well-drained soils in sun or partial shade.
