About African Aloe

Aloe africana, known as the Uitenhage aloe, is a striking arborescent species from South Africa's Eastern Cape. It features a solitary stem reaching up to four meters, topped with a dense rosette of recurved, grey-green leaves armed with small reddish teeth. In winter, it produces spectacular orange and yellow tubular flowers that uniquely curve upwards. This drought-tolerant succulent thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, making it an ideal architectural focal point for coastal or water-wise gardens.
