About INCA JOLI™ Alstroemeria

Inca Joli is the Könst Alstroemeria trade name for the patented cultivar 'Koncajoli'. Its compact, well-branched clump bears orange-red flowers with gold-yellow throats and dark flecks from late spring into early fall, adding a long run of color to garden beds. ## Garden character and placement The plant is roughly 16–20 inches tall and forms a mounded clump rather than running through the bed. Grow it in full sun or partial shade with space for a 20–24-inch spread. It fits borders, patio containers, and cutting gardens; the long-lasting stems can be used in arrangements. The [Royal Horticultural Society](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/299652/alstroemeria-inca-joli-koncajoli-inca-series/details) describes the named Inca Joli cultivar, while [Plant Delights Nursery](https://www.plantdelights.com/products/alstroemeria-koncajoli-pp-22267) documents its garden form and orange-red, flecked flowers. ## Growing conditions Provide fertile soil that holds some moisture but drains freely. Water during dry weather while the plant is growing and flowering. The patent record identifies 'Koncajoli' as U.S. plant patent PP22267, issued November 22, 2011; that issuance date does not establish current legal status. ## Maintenance Let new plants settle before dividing or moving them. Remove faded flowering stems at the base to keep the clump tidy and make space for new stems. In colder sites, protect the crown with a winter mulch and avoid waterlogged soil.
