About Utah Serviceberry

Amelanchier utahensis, commonly known as the Utah serviceberry, is a versatile deciduous shrub or small tree native to the arid regions of Western North America. It typically exhibits a multi-stemmed, upright growth habit, reaching heights of up to fifteen feet. In spring, it produces clusters of fragrant white flowers followed by small, edible purple-black fruits that attract birds. Its grayish-green foliage turns vibrant shades of yellow and orange in autumn, providing year-round interest.
