Amsonia 'Butterscotch' is a vigorous hybrid cultivar known for its feathery, thread-like green foliage that creates a soft, airy texture in the landscape. In late spring, it produces clusters of starry, light blue flowers that attract various pollinators. This clumping perennial is most celebrated for its spectacular autumn transformation, where the leaves turn a rich golden-butterscotch hue against striking red stems.
