Create design onlineAbout Mona Lisa® Mixture Anemone
Mona Lisa® Mixture is a seed-grown *Anemone coronaria* selection that combines the colors in PanAmerican Seed's Mona Lisa series. The breeder lists upright plants with 18-inch stems, 4–4.5-inch flowers, and flowering under lower winter light, positioning the mix for high-quality cut stems and floral design ([PanAmerican Seed](https://www.panamseed.com/Products/004800948003332/anemone-mona-lisa-mixture/)).
## Form and seasonal use
The breeder's plant information lists early-spring and autumn flowering, partial-sun exposure, 18-inch height, and 6-inch spacing width. It describes the flowers as suitable for cutting and notes that the series can produce up to 18 blooms per plant. This is a commercial cut-flower selection; garden spacing and performance will vary with climate and growing method. The mixture is a distinct product from individual named colors such as Mona Lisa® Deep Blue.
## Growing conditions
For cut-stem production, PanAmerican Seed recommends cool temperatures of 46–54°F (8–12°C) to promote stem length. Species-level guidance for *A. coronaria* favors full sun and light, well-drained soil, followed by a dry summer dormancy; avoid waterlogged conditions while plants are dormant ([RHS species profile](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/108378/anemone-coronaria/details)).
## Maintenance
Water during active growth as needed, then reduce irrigation when foliage yellows and the plant enters dormancy. Let foliage fade naturally before clearing it. Protect dormant tubers from excess winter moisture and severe frost in colder climates.
