Anemone SATIN DOLL™ ‘Glow’ is a dwarf Japanese anemone with full-sized pink, daisy-like flowers over a compact mound of green foliage. It blooms from late July through October and spreads slowly underground, making it useful for small borders and containers where a taller anemone would be too assertive.
## Flowers and placement
The [Terra Nova Nurseries profile](https://www.terranovanurseries.com/product/anemone-satin-doll-glow/) identifies this exact cultivar, lists USDA zones 4–9, and gives a size of 12 inches high by 13 inches wide, with flowering stems to 14 inches. It describes pink flowers, late-July-to-October bloom, and a restrained running habit. An independent [Blooming Junction listing](https://www.bloomingjunction.com/products/33157) confirms the SATIN DOLL™ ‘Glow’ name, soft-pink flowers from late July to October, dwarf form, and suitability for small gardens or containers; it gives a slightly smaller 10–12-inch spread range. The breeder’s measurement is used for mature dimensions.
## Siting
Plant in full sun or part shade in average soil that stays moist without becoming waterlogged. Allow room for the clump to broaden, and use it at a bed edge or in a container where its compact scale can be appreciated. The breeder lists it as a pollinator-attracting perennial and reports that it stays in its lane better than more strongly running anemones.
## Maintenance
Water through establishment and during prolonged dry periods, while keeping the soil well drained. Remove dead foliage after it dies back and tidy spent flower stems as needed. Check the clump occasionally for shoots beyond its allotted space; its slow underground spread usually makes this less demanding than with taller, more vigorous Japanese anemones.
