Create design onlineAbout Angel Bells Clustered Bellflowers
Angel Bells is a compact clustered bellflower with dense white flower clusters above a low mound of green foliage. This patented cultivar is suited to the front or middle of a sunny to partly shaded border, and its flowers also work in pollinator plantings and cutting gardens.
## Flowers and garden use
The [breeder, Walters Gardens](https://www.waltersgardens.com/variety.php?ID=CAMAB), identifies Angel Bells as a white-flowered selection of *Campanula glomerata* (PP31465), blooming in late spring to early summer. [Proven Winners](https://www.provenwinners.com/plants/campanula/angel-bells-clustered-bellflowers-campanula-glomerata) likewise describes white clusters and notes that the flowers attract bees and butterflies. Bloom timing may shift with climate.
## Size and placement
Expect a dense clump around 14–18 inches tall and 16–20 inches wide. Plant in full sun or part shade, spacing it to allow the mound to develop without crowding adjacent plants. It can be used in borders or containers; avoid placing it where taller plants will obscure the flowers.
## Soil and water
Grow in average, well-drained soil and provide average moisture, particularly during establishment and dry weather. Walters Gardens recommends full sun to part shade. Good drainage helps protect the crown through wet seasons.
## Maintenance
Proven Winners rates the cultivar as easy to maintain. Remove spent flower stems to tidy the planting and cut away damaged foliage. Once established, clumps can be divided to make more plants of the same cultivar, as described in the [RHS Campanula growing guide](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/campanula/specialist/growing-guide). Avoid routine heavy pruning.
