Angelface® Super Blue is the tall ‘ANSUBLU021’ Angelonia angustifolia cultivar, grown for blue flower spikes above fragrant foliage. Proven Winners lists it at 30–40 inches tall with a 12–18-inch spread and records the cultivar as USPP 33,058 and Canadian PBR 6,533.
## Flowers and form
The upright stems add height in large containers or along the back of a sunny border. Proven Winners lists spring and summer flowering and describes the bloom as long-lasting; warm weather supports continued flowering. The cultivar's narrow spread allows it to rise above lower companions, but its height calls for a stable container and a position where it will not shade smaller plants. ## Site and seasonal role
Grow in full sun and fertile soil that drains well while retaining moisture. Angelonia is adapted to summer heat and humidity; in cooler regions it is generally planted as a warm-season annual, while it can persist as a tender perennial in warm climates. ## Maintenance
Water regularly during establishment and monitor pots in hot, dry weather. Proven Winners says this cultivar does not need deadheading. Remove damaged stems when necessary and check for aphids or powdery mildew, which can affect Angelonia.
