Create design onlineAbout Serenita® Raspberry Angelonia
Serenita® Raspberry is a compact Angelonia angustifolia selection from PanAmerican Seed’s Serenita® series, identified by product code PAS777797. Its raspberry-colored flower spikes add a warm accent to sunny edging, annual borders, and containers; the breeder lists a mature height and width of 12–14 inches.
## Flowering and placement
Angelonia angustifolia bears small flowers on upright spikes and commonly flowers from early summer into fall. Use Serenita® Raspberry in groups for a strong color block or combine it with lower annuals that leave the spikes visible. It can be grown as a tender perennial in suitable climates and as an annual where winter cold interrupts growth.
## Growing conditions
Choose full sun and fertile soil that holds some moisture but drains freely. NC State Extension notes that Angelonia handles summer heat and humidity and has some drought tolerance, though plants flower best with moisture during hot, dry periods. Avoid persistently wet soil.
## Maintenance
Water after planting and through extended dry weather. Container plants may be difficult to overwinter indoors, so many gardeners replace them in spring in cold-winter areas. Consult [PanAmerican Seed’s Serenita® Raspberry listing](https://www.panamseed.com/products/004906262004443/angelonia-serenita-raspberry/) for the exact code and dimensions, and [NC State Extension’s Angelonia guide](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/angelonia-angustifolia/common-name/angelonia/) for broader culture notes.
