Create design onlineAbout Carita™ White Angelonia
Carita™ White is an upright, spreading angelonia with white-to-cream snapdragon-like flowers. This compact, heat-loving annual grows about 14–18 inches tall and 12–16 inches wide, giving summer containers and warm-season beds a strong upright accent.
## Siting and flowering
The [Syngenta profile](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70003175) lists part sun to full sun, flowering from mid-spring through summer, and pollinator-friendly flowers. It describes the Carita line as heat- and drought-tolerant and suited to warm-season landscape plantings. The NC State Extension [species profile](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/angelonia-angustifolia/) recommends full sun and fertile, moist but well-drained soil, and notes that angelonia tolerates summer heat and humidity. Its species guidance also says plants may be treated as annuals outside suitable warm climates.
## Placement
The breeder describes Carita White as spreading and upright, with medium-compact vigor. Use it in a sunny border or a larger container where the 12–16-inch spread has room; it can serve as a vertical flowering accent among lower plants.
## Maintenance
NC State Extension reports that angelonia does not need deadheading or staking. Water new plantings as they establish and avoid leaving roots in poorly drained soil.
