Carita™ Cascade Raspberry is a compact-to-medium Angelonia with a mounding, semi-trailing habit and raspberry-pink flowers. Syngenta lists it as a heat-loving annual for baskets and bold container combinations, with an 8–10 inch garden height and 18–24 inch spread.
## Form and flowering
Its outward growth can soften the edges of hanging baskets and planters, while the mounded center supplies color in mixed containers or sunny beds. Syngenta lists mid-spring through summer flowering and part sun to full sun exposure. The Syngenta profile identifies this Cascade selection by its spreading, semi-trailing habit, distinct from the more upright Carita forms.
## Siting and care
Provide sun and moist, well-drained soil, and allow room for the wider spread. Angelonia handles summer heat and humidity well; established plants can tolerate some dry intervals, but containers need regular checks because they dry faster than beds. Treat it as an annual where winters are cold. [Syngenta Flowers](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70018119) supplies current cultivar dimensions, habit, exposure and bloom timing; [NCSU Extension](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/angelonia-angustifolia/) and [UF/IFAS Extension](https://gardeningsolutions.ifas.ufl.edu/plants/ornamentals/angelonia/) provide species-level care.
## Maintenance
Water during establishment and in extended dry weather, especially in hanging baskets. Angelonia generally does not require deadheading or staking. Trim only damaged or overlong stems if the plant needs shaping.
