About Kangaroo Paw

This vigorous, rhizomatous evergreen perennial forms large clumps of leathery, strap-like green leaves. Reaching up to two meters in height, it produces striking, velvety tubular flowers in shades of yellow, green, or red that resemble a kangaroo's paw. Highly resilient and long-lived, it thrives in diverse soils from sand to clay. Ideal for bird-attracting gardens, coastal sites, or as a structural backdrop, it prefers full sun to light shade and requires minimal maintenance.
