About JoeJoe® Orange - Anigozanthos

JoeJoe® Orange is a compact Anigozanthos hybrid marketed by Green Fuse Botanicals. Its patent denomination is ‘Rambofling’: the cultivar has fuzzy orange tubular flowers, an upright fan-shaped perennial habit, and repeat flowering over a long season. ## Landscape use Green Fuse positions JoeJoe® as a compact series for quart to one-gallon containers. Its sculptural flower stalks also suit a sunny border or mixed planting where the unusual flower form can be seen up close. The patent describes orange flowers and reports flowering from spring through autumn in outdoor trials. ## Growing conditions Grow in a bright, sunny position with well-drained soil. Like other kangaroo paws, it has rhizomatous roots and narrow strap-shaped leaves; avoid prolonged waterlogging, especially when growth slows in cool weather. Provide enough room for the fan of foliage and flower stems. The patent’s measurements came from a one-year-old plant in a one-quart container, so they should not be treated as a mature landscape size. ## Maintenance Remove spent flower stalks at their base for a tidy appearance, taking care not to cut into the foliage. During cool, low-light periods, reduce watering and let the growing medium dry before watering again.
