Jump® Orange - Anigozanthos

Jump® Orange is an orange-flowered selection in Green Fuse Botanicals’ Anigozanthos Jump® series. Kangaroo paws have narrow, strap-shaped leaves and distinctive fuzzy, tubular flowers on upright stalks; Green Fuse positions Jump® as a larger-growing series for landscape use and large containers. ## Landscape use Use this selection as a bright vertical accent in a sunny border, grouped planting, or large pot. Green Fuse describes Jump® as a landscape and large-container series with orange, red, and yellow selections, good disease resistance, and drought tolerance. Its catalogs give finished production heights of about 24–40 inches for the series; garden and production measurements can differ with growing conditions. ## Growing conditions Kangaroo paws generally perform best in sun and well-drained soil. Give the clump room for its upright flowering stems and avoid persistently wet soil. The flowers are nectar-bearing and attract hummingbirds according to Green Fuse. ## Maintenance After flowering, remove spent stems near the base while leaving healthy foliage in place. Water during establishment and extended dry periods, then avoid frequent irrigation in cool weather.
