About Rosy Pussytoes

Antennaria rosea, commonly known as rosy pussytoes, is a resilient, mat-forming perennial native to North America. It features attractive, woolly, silver-gray foliage that forms a dense ground cover, spreading via short stolons. In late spring to summer, it produces clusters of fuzzy, rosy-pink to white flower heads atop short stems. This drought-tolerant plant thrives in well-drained, poor soils and is ideal for rock gardens, slopes, or as a low-maintenance filler between stepping stones.
