Anthemis tinctoria 'Sauce Hollandaise' is a clump-forming perennial with finely divided foliage and daisy flowers that open soft yellow and fade toward cream. Its long flowering season and airy form suit sunny mixed borders, gravel gardens, and cut-flower plantings.
## Flowers and garden use
The [Royal Horticultural Society profile](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/49778/anthemis-tinctoria-sauce-hollandaise/details) describes erect, branching stems with cream daisies and recommends the plant for flower beds, cottage gardens, containers, banks, and cut flowers. The grower [Kwekerij Bastin](https://www.bastin.nl/webwinkel/bijenplanten/anthemis-tinctoria-sauce-hollandaise-detail.html) reports yellow to cream-white blooms from April through September and notes that the flowers fade from soft yellow to a paler cream. It also describes dark green, finely divided foliage and lists the plant for bees and butterflies.
## Siting
Give it full sun and moderately fertile, well-drained soil; RHS lists chalk, loam, and sand. Published size estimates differ: RHS gives 0.1–0.5 m for both height and spread, while Bastin lists a height of 90 cm. Treat mature size as variable with climate and growing conditions. The RHS rates this cultivar H6 in the UK system; that rating is not a USDA zone conversion.
## Maintenance
After flowering, cut the plant back to encourage basal growth, as RHS advises. Bastin recommends a light summer trim if the plant is flowering itself out. Avoid persistently wet soil.
