Madame Butterfly™ Bronze Antirrhinum

Madame Butterfly™ Bronze is an upright annual snapdragon with double, azalea-like flowers carried on tall stems. Syngenta places it in the Madame Butterfly series for late-spring and summer flowering, with cut-flower and border use. ## Form and seasonal color The [Syngenta product profile](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70051944) confirms the Bronze variety, code 70051944, and describes the series’ full, double-azalea flower spikes. The exact product is listed at 24–30 inches tall and 14–16 inches wide. Its bronze color designation distinguishes it from the other named varieties in the series. ## Siting Grow in full sun and well-drained soil. The [Royal Horticultural Society](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/69565/antirrhinum-majus/details) recommends a sunny position and free drainage for Antirrhinum majus. Syngenta lists late spring and summer as this series’ flowering seasons and marks the product pollinator friendly. ## Maintenance Keep soil draining freely and water to support active growth. Cut stems for arrangements as flowers open, and remove faded spikes to prolong the display. The RHS notes that snapdragons may be affected by aphids and diseases including rust.
