About Monaco Orange Snapdragon

Monaco Orange is an orange-flowered F1 snapdragon in PanAmerican Seed’s Monaco series, bred for strong, high-quality flower spikes during changing seasonal conditions. The breeder lists the series for spring flowering and greenhouse or high-tunnel production, with a 32–60-inch plant-height range. ## Flowers and harvest Monaco Orange is suited to cutting and floral work. The [PanAmerican cultivar page](https://www.panamseed.com/products/057800949003789/snapdragon-monaco-orange/) describes upright plants, spring and autumn flowering, and high-quality spikes for greenhouse or high-tunnel production. [Johnny’s Selected Seeds](https://www.johnnyseeds.com/flowers/snapdragon/monaco-orange-f1-snapdragon-seed-4934.html) independently identifies Monaco Orange as an F1 snapdragon with deeply pigmented orange flowers and field or greenhouse performance. ## Siting Grow in sun. PanAmerican notes that Monaco is useful during late-summer to early-autumn and late-winter to early-spring transition harvests, tolerates warm autumn conditions, and performs well where temperatures are moderate and day length changes little. The [RHS species profile](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/69565/antirrhinum-majus/details) gives general snapdragon guidance for full sun and well-drained soil. ## Maintenance Remove spent flower spikes to encourage further flowering in garden settings. The RHS recommends deadheading to prolong flowering. Stem length and outdoor mature size can vary with light, temperature and production method.
