Create design onlineAbout DREW'S FOLLY® Hardy Snapdragon
DREW’S FOLLY™ is a compact, evergreen hardy snapdragon selected for abundant dusty pink flowers above a tidy mound of dark green foliage. Plant Select lists it for USDA zones 5–8 and reports a mature size near 15 inches tall by 16 inches wide, with flowering from late May into June.
## Garden use and appearance
This low perennial suits rock gardens, path edges, and the front of sunny or partly shaded borders, where its dense seasonal bloom can be appreciated close up. Plant Select identifies the selection as ‘P020S’; its pink flowers and compact habit distinguish it from the broader species. The Plant Select profile notes that flowers can nearly cover the foliage and that bees visit the blooms.
## Siting and seasonal care
Give it sun or part sun and soil with good drainage. Plant Select reports that the plant tolerates a range of soil types, including clay and loam, and performs with occasional irrigation in relatively dry conditions. The Denver Botanic Gardens likewise advises occasional water during summer heat. Water new plants while they establish, then adjust supplemental irrigation to local rainfall, soil drainage, and heat.

## Maintenance
Plant Select recommends a spring trim. Remove damaged growth and avoid routinely cutting into healthy evergreen foliage.
