Aphelandra sinclairiana is a striking tropical shrub reaching up to ten feet in height. Native to Central America, it features large, deeply veined, dark green leaves that provide a lush backdrop for its spectacular terminal flower spikes. These spikes consist of bright orange bracts from which tubular pink flowers emerge, creating a vivid contrast. It thrives in warm, humid conditions with well-drained, humus-rich soil and prefers full sun to dappled shade for optimal blooming.
