Arctostaphylos uva-ursi 'Vancouver Jade' is a vigorous, low-growing evergreen shrub that forms a dense, carpet-like mat. It features small, leathery, dark green leaves that transition to a beautiful bronze-red in winter. In spring, delicate clusters of pinkish-white, urn-shaped flowers appear, followed by bright red berries that persist into winter. This disease-resistant cultivar excels as a groundcover on slopes or cascading over walls, thriving in acidic, well-drained, and poor soils.
