Vanilla Butterfly® Argyranthemum

Vanilla Butterfly® is a compact, freely flowering Marguerite Daisy selection with a rounded, upright-to-spreading outline. Its single flowers have creamy yellow rays and yellow-orange centers; the patent distinguishes it from ‘G15101’ by its lighter rays and smaller flower heads. It is commonly used as a tender perennial or seasonal annual in beds, borders, and containers. ## Flowers and Garden Use The named cultivar is ‘G15104’. Its patent describes a dense, bushy, freely branching plant with large single flower heads. The pale yellow flowers provide a softer look than the deeper yellow of Golden Butterfly®. The plant is suitable for a sunny border or patio pot, where its extended flowering can be appreciated. ## Siting and Size Give Vanilla Butterfly® full sun and freely draining soil. It tolerates some part shade in garden listings, though bright exposure favors flowering. Treat it as tender in climates with frost; gardeners in cooler areas can grow it for the warm season. Current compact mature dimensions are retained because the opened cultivar sources do not establish a materially different size range. ## Maintenance Keep soil evenly moist while plants establish, then water as needed to prevent prolonged drying. Remove spent flowers if a tidier appearance is desired.
