Viking Aronia Chokeberry Bush

Viking is an upright, multi-stemmed deciduous shrub reaching three to six feet in height and width. It features glossy, dark green foliage that transforms into a brilliant fire-engine red during the autumn months. In spring, clusters of fragrant white flowers emerge, followed by large, nutrient-dense purplish-black berries used for juices and preserves. Highly adaptable, it thrives in full sun to part shade and tolerates a wide range of soil conditions, from boggy wetlands to dry upland sites.
