Big Sage Brush 'wyomingensis'

Artemisia tridentata var. wyomingensis, commonly known as Wyoming big sagebrush, is a rugged, evergreen shrub essential to Western landscapes. It features a rounded, uneven crown with branches typically arising from the ground. Its wedge-shaped, silvery-gray foliage is covered in fine hairs, releasing a pungent aroma when wet. Highly drought-tolerant, it thrives in full sun and well-drained, rocky soils. This subspecies provides critical winter forage and habitat for diverse wildlife.
