Goat's Beard

Aruncus is a genus of clump-forming herbaceous perennials known for their stately, shrub-like habit and feathery plumes of creamy white flowers. Often compared to Astilbe, these plants feature deeply veined, fern-like foliage that remains attractive throughout the season. They thrive in moist, fertile soils and are ideal for woodland gardens, stream banks, or as background specimens. While they tolerate full sun in cooler climates, they prefer partial shade in warmer regions to prevent leaf scorch.
