Aster dumosus 'Wood's Light Blue' (also known as Symphyotrichum dumosum) is a compact, mound-forming perennial known for its dense, bushy habit and exceptional resistance to mildew and rust. Reaching heights of 12 to 15 inches, it features dark green, lance-shaped foliage that remains attractive throughout the season. In late summer and fall, it is smothered in clear light blue, daisy-like flowers with yellow centers. Ideal for borders and containers, it thrives in full sun and moist, well-drained soil.
